Hingucken verboten!

Die bisher lustigste Reaktion auf die Veröffentlichung der "Cablegate"-Papiere durch Wikileaks kommt von der Regierung der USA: Sie verbietet ihren Beamten und Angestellten einfach, die Informationen zur Kenntnis zu nehmen. Laut New York Times gab das Office of Management and Budget am Freitag eine entsprechende Anweisung heraus:
Classified information, whether or not already posted on public websites or disclosed to the media, remains classified, and must be treated as such by federal employees and contractors, until it is declassified by an appropriate U.S. Government authority.
Die NYT nennt das treffend
